Total was $118 but I paid $15.76 plus tax for everything!
The last couple of Super Doubles I was either sick, had sick children or very busy. So I hadn’t shopped much and wasn’t super excited. This time I was ready to go! There were many deals that I was looking forward to. I ended up paying $15.76 plus tax and the original total was over $118!
For only $15.76, I bought 32 items (average of $0.49 per item):
Riceworks Chips- 2 FREE
Barilla Collezione Pasta- 2 FREE- used new coupons from today
Garnier Shampoo and Conditioner- 2 FREE– used new coupons from today
Birds Eye Frozen Rice/Vegetables- 2 FREE bags
Chobani Drinks & Yogurt- 4 FREE
Harris Teeter Frozen Brocolli- FREE
Hormel Snack Trays- 3 for $0.33 each- used this printable coupon
Quaker Oatmeal- 2 for $0.64 each
Pepsi 12 Pack Cans- 4 packs for $0.99 each (comes to 8.2 cents per soda)- used old coupon that I printed a while ago
Johnsonville Ground Sausage- 2 packs for $0.47 each
Cooked Perfect Frozen Meatballs- $0.99 each
Garnier Purifying Charcoal Facial Wipes- $1.24 (reg price is $6.99)- used new coupon from today
DelMonte Canned Tomatoes- $0.50 each (used old coupon that I printed a month ago)
Nestle Pure Life Water Bottles, 12 pack- 2 packs for $1.50 each (used old coupon that I printed a month ago)
I used a combination of newspaper and printable coupons. Some of the printable coupons were coupons that I had printed several weeks ago but had saved because I never used them. That came in handy because those coupons are no longer available to print but the items were on sale and I still had the coupons. One example was the Pepsi 12-packs. They were on sale for $1.99 each. I had a coupon for $1.00 off 2 Pepsi 12 packs. It doubled, making them $0.99 each! So it always pays to print the coupons that you like, even if you don’t need them at the time because they may make a deal later. I learned that lesson the hard way this week. I forgot to print the Seattle’s Best coupons when they came out at the end of February. I realized last night that they were no longer available to print and my husband really wanted the coffee deal 🙁
A few things I wanted were out of stock. That was the Coleman Kielbaska and Swiffer, both items would have been free. So I’ll try again tomorrow.
You have through Tuesday night, March 6th to shop Harris Teeter Super Double Coupons Week! See a long list of deals here.
