I always feel somewhat guilty posting about fast food deals, but everyone deserves to treat themselves once in a while!
Burger King is doing a free french fry day on Friday, December 16th. They are doing this to introduce their new fries to the world!
No purchase is necessary but while you’re there you may want to check out their delicious char-grilled burgers or their new soft serve ice cream (it’s actually really good).
Save the date- this Friday!
I recently posted about Burger King’s coupon booklets, where you pay $1 but get $8 in free food products.
Now Wendy’s is offering their coupon booklets where you pay $1 and get $10 worth of free items at Wendy’s. These are great for passing out for Halloween.
I haven’t bought any, so I’m not sure if each coupon is for a frosty or if they throw in some other choices, too. I will report back once I know, or if you know, please leave a comment.
I did speak with the manager at Wendy’s in Porter’s Neck and he told me they have plenty in stock and that they will be honored through the end of the year. He said they are available at all Wendy’s in the area.
These coupons also make great, money saving incentives for your kids. Of course, if you yourself enjoy the occasional Frosty, this booklet is certainly a cost-effective way to get them!
*Thank you Karen C. for sharing this info with me!
Going on right now at Burger King locations in Wilmington is the discount booklet sale. It’s a pretty neat little deal. Pay $1 and you get a coupon booklet with $8 in free food coupons. Included in the booklet are:
4 FREE value size fry coupons
3 FREE soft serve ice cream cone coupons
1 FREE small soft drink or icee
I know that McDonalds used to do something similar to this for the beginning of the school year. Some people buy the booklets then pass out the coupons as Halloween treats. Also, if you were going to treat a group of kids, either your own or maybe a sports team or something, this would certainly be an economical way to do it!
I don’t think there’s a limit on how many you can buy. I bought four today at the drive-through. The coupons don’t expire until December 31, 2011, so there is plenty of time to use them.
Finally, the coupons are sold to benefit education through the BK Scholars Program, which has donated over $15 million dollars. So, if you are having any guilt about buying fast food coupons, perhaps you can justify it by knowing that you are saving money and helping a great cause!
